The short version: your accounts stay yours, your tokens never touch us, and the only thing we keep is the history that powers your dashboard.
Your social accounts
KlySync never sees, stores, or transmits your social media passwords or access tokens. When you connect an account, you authorize it on the platform's own consent screen, and the resulting token is held by our publishing provider (PostPeer or Outstand) in their secure vault. You can revoke access at any time from the platform's settings or from KlySync.
What we store
Three things, all scoped to your account: (1) your profile basics: name, email, and avatar, so your workspace is yours; (2) your post history: captions, generated images, and which platforms succeeded or failed, so your dashboard works; (3) your preferences: default platforms, tone, theme. That's the whole list.
What we never store
Passwords (we have none: sign-in is OAuth or one-time email codes, and codes are hashed and deleted on use). Social tokens. Payment details. Your drafts stay in your browser until you publish. Generation prompts are sent to the AI providers (Google Gemini, HuggingFace) to produce your content and are subject to their processing terms; we don't sell or share your content with anyone.
Deleting your data
Your local drafts can be cleared anytime from Settings → Danger Zone. To delete your account and full post history, email us and it's gone. No retention games, no 30-day "processing" excuses.
